hi guys, i'm not sure whether this is the right place to ask. but i think it's about income tax too.
basically, i'm going to be sent to work in china by my current company. So, i want to ask how and where should i declare my income TAX? i'm wondering should i ask my company to pay me in RMB or RM. whichever that can enable me to pay less tax
i heard that if i'm going to work oversea, i would consider expat and need to pay 26% flat rate!
is that true?
it's welcome too if anyone can advise me about China income tax rate. i've searched google and come back with many different result.

1. is you are still under local company employment, but work oversea.
- if this is the case, you r still entitle for local taxation, company pay you allowance/per deem/per receipts claim/watsoever for all your oversea expenses
- And you just use back year end EA form to do your claim as per normal
2. You been totally transfer to china, as in leave local company and sign a new contract with China's Company.
- this, you need HR help to actually terminate your service in current company. HR will need to reconcile all your payment and inform TAXATION office tht you are leaving Malaysia, therefore no more declaration needed after the last paycheck/or last Taxing year.
- But if you are still receiving other sources of income such as rental, stock divident; these income are entitle for 26% taxation. they will treat you as Expat. (for this, you can actually setup a company and get some1 to manage and pay them dummy salary to reduce your income. etc appoint ur mum as CEO)
Correct me if i am wrong
