actually ur commission can consider as ur part time/extra income, its not necessary you have declare it, but when come to apply for loan, its better for show extra income to easily get the loan, but if you got no idea about that, you can ignore to declare that,

Hi there,

I had a question ago ask all the pro's here.

My situation:
Working with company A with monthly basic salary 1k. So all this years I free from income tax fever. Starting this year, I being hired as workers (so they register me in LHDN, got SG no.) then i move on as a freelance consultant to a company B while still working with company A.
Question:
1. Starting this month the company B I had no receiving basic salary but monthly commission 3k. So, next coming year, do I fill borang B or BE?

Is Co' B going to issue EA form to you?
-> If yes, then your name will appear in Co' B borang majikan (Form E) which will be submitted to Income Tax. In this case, you should continue borang BE.
-> If no, do you keep track a statement on income and expense for service as consultant to Co' B? If no statement, assuming you will declare gross commission (Rm3K x 12 mth), then suggest you to continue with borang BE. If you prepare statement, suggest you to convert to borang B and remember to keep all your docs properly, for future audit by Income Tax.

thanks

anyway, have 2 question here

1. in e-filling, there is about epf contribution (max 6000)...is this refer to our monthly epf deduction?

2. in 2009, only work (and get salary) 1 month and got pcb. can ask for refund now?

hi,

Would like to ask one question..In 2011, my wife was working but her salary was lower than minimum taxable salary. Means that no income tax deduction.

Which type of assessment should i choose for the E-filing?

1. Joint in the name of husband, or
2. Separate, or
3. Myself only

thank you
*
Is her total income in YA2011 = RM3000 ? If not, go for separate assessment to save tax on your individual case.

If you select option 1, her total income will add to your total income.

Hi all,
Need an urgent advice, my home printer is spoilt now.
After submitting the e-BE form, is there any way we can print the form later or maybe save the form into the PC first?
If yes, how can I do it?
Many thanks in advance!!

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/pdfxchangeviewer.html
OR
http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php
OR
Google "free pdf creator" (note both the above i havent tested before - i use NitroPDF)

Download, install and when U print - select the "PDF printer" and it'll be saved to a PDF file for future hard copy printout.
IF U have no idea how to download, install and select a printer er....

1) Yes, on employee portion only. Total contributed is written at the end of your EA form.
2) Not sure.

Take it from an IT guy - dont trust computers TOO much tongue.gif
eg.
File corruption or media kaput, future application changes does not support old file format, lost media (thumbdrive/HDD/DVD), etc.
I myself keep 1 hard copy + 1 softcopy + backup in HDD, thumb & emailed to my own GMail & Yahoo sweat.gif

I believe there are few ways on how you can skip income tax though it's not a good thing to do. Or at least, minimize it. But what the heck, no one loves paying income tax, right? Why waste your hard earned money to buying Rosmah's new handbag? What my accountant friend advises me is to keep all purchase receipts, be it for personal use or commercial, you can claim it to reduce your income tax. Mind to share some tips?

Yup that's true. laugh.gif
But I only print the acknowledgement and file it together with the receipts.

Btw, you can check back your e-BE and reprint/save it after you've submitted here. smile.gif
