so that means that if the field is fill-able then i can claim for pc right?
*
I would like to know this as well.
I file the tax for both my parents and myself. For me, my PC field was greyed out, I claimed for PC last year. But for my parents, their PC field is fill-able, their claim for PC was 2 years ago, which also means cannot claim since can only claim once in 3 years. So I'm abit confuse if the field is not greyed out means can still claim?

One is 2008, one is 2009. Both PC field also not greyed out.
Mine was in 2010, which was greyed out for this year. Felt a bit weird why theirs wasn't greyed out so I went and double check the old records also.

As usual the programmer didn't program to check against YA2009 or YA2008 to grey-up the field.

Hi all... am filling up my e-BE now... have a question regarding director's fee

i was only paid the director fee for 2009 and 2010 last year... PCB have also been deducted

sud i fill it in

a) Income Of Preceding Years Not Declared

or

b) Statutory Income and Total Income -> Employment
*
Director fees is taxable on year received. So if fees for 2009 only paid in 2010, its considered 2010 income not as arrears.

Computer claim field not greyed out for Y2009 may be is a trap!

Added on March 6, 2012, 7:25 amReminder to who reported full RM10k housing loan interest examption. Make sure you visit the LHDN office to submit the loan statement copy. Else your claim will be dropped.

I had bad experince last year where 1st the claim was dropped. Then I submitted proof at counter but the copy got lost before reaching evaluator. Have to visit them twice to get it refund. Wasted 3 months time.

btw, for the insurance tax relief. i bought a GE 6-in-1 insurance with monthly RM150, do I need to split out the RM150 to life, medical and etc or just RM150*12 months?

I'm curious, so I checked mine.
2011 for YA2010 I claimed PC RM3,000.

Today I check
2012 for YA2011 = PC field is not disabled. But hovering mouse over Info, it says field will be disabled if claimed in recent 2 years. rclxub.gif

If your EPF + Insurance does not exceed RM6k, just lump it all together.

If exceed, try ask GE for breakdown so that you can claim:
EPF + Life Insurance = max 6k
Medical Insurance = max 3k

For eBE, it is 30 April 2012.

For eB, it is 30 June 2012.

As long as you not yet submit and get the "pengesahan" chop, no worries.
Just go back clear everything and same as empty.
Logout, and login to correct e-BE form to fill up again.

But if you fill up e-B , should not have major problem also, since you submit before end-June.
If get audit, just say you join Amway/Cosway, but no sales and profit.
If don't get audit, just leave it. Next year submit e-BE.

If want to follow 100% full procedure, and you already submit "pengesahan", then goto LHDN, find officer, lodge case to inform them, then you may need to re-submit e-BE again, etc.
