someone should go confirm the G5 tracking error.

a couple forums already complained on the G5 tracking error, in which if you move the mouse too fast the cursor skips.

anyway i'm getting the copperhead.
ppl say its more comfortable than the diamondback also.

Oh yeah, before I forget. Razer is only releasing the Tempest Blue version of the Copperhead (or maybe the SG distro only bought the blue). Other colors not available at this time.
*
just found out that the red and green ones only gonna be available mid-end october.

also heres something from Razer regarding the 1st batch of copperheads that were available in singapore.

The few mice that are in circulation in Singapore are not completely firmware updated. There were a few video cards that caused this delay and have been fixed. We have issued a recall to the 150 mice owners so we can make the proper updates. Final mice should not have this problem.

150 only? wtf? tongue.gif
but thats a pretty fast 150 sold in just a few days.

Same shipment as the Copperheads. Hoping it'll reach us by Friday. Unless the cost goes up, it is expected to retail for RM 99.

well you can increase the cost of the func and use the extra money to subsidize the copperhead biggrin.gif

the copperheads released early were actually distributor and press samples, repackaged to sell.
these are mostly the so-called 1st edition mouses.
they had a firmware that cannot be upgraded via drivers from the net.
ie. firmware v6.01.
for this firmware version ppl will need to contact razer to upgrade.

the actual public release of copperhead has firmware v6.13.
and now its at v6.14.

and yea, the main launch date should've been during WCG grand finals.
but then the G5 also has problems in cursor tracking.
so maybe both logitech and razer rushed them mouses out tongue.gif

Dai lou Everdying, so what happens next to your previous Razer® mice? Are you gonna sell them off?

btw, gamers.com.my. When is B&W2 really arriving. Someone said he read that the release date was 7th. Plz confirm. tq:respect:

i'll most probably be selling off my chameleon green diamondback for about RM150 and a brand new corepad for RM99 to fund my new lover.

haha i have no idea wtf razer are doing now.
maybe hiring illegal vietnamese to work for them or something.

they just realised a major slipup of theirs in that Firmware7.26.s19 somehow ended up on the CD and should not be installed as its development firmware tongue.gif

anyway, firmware 6.16a is out, heres the full info.

Issues addressed up to 6.16

1. Movement lag issue resolved.
2. Keyboard/macro behavior changed based on user feedback. Mouse buttons assigned as single keys can now be held down instead of immediately releasing.
3. Issue introduced by 6.15 (mouse not detected on certain motherboards) fixed. 6.15 is now no longer available for beta testing or download. If you are testing 6.15, please update to 6.16.
4. Issue introduced by 6.15 (random cursor jump on some machines) fixed.

Please email betadrivers@razerzone.com if you'd like to try it. Do ensure you have driver version 6.07 and above. If you've already flashed something with driver 6.04, you'll need to exchange your Copperhead before trying this firmware.

maybe new era only brought in 30?
some kinda distributor they are.

gamers i think brought in 15 pieces by themselves.

as for copperhead, first edition is limited to 10,000.
and gamers i think has 3-4 left of the first edition.

maybe those who dont have copperhead yet cos of the issues but want it...
just buy the 1st edition, wait for stable drivers and firmware to be out and everything will be fine.
cos the issues definitely not hardware related.

what steel or aluminium?
the top is still gonna be plastic.

and plastic wearing out fast must be the cheap ass pads.
cos my exactmat speed side wore out after 6 months, now using the control side and its still going on for another 7 months already.
