Yes the gameplay can be a bit repetitive since it's a hack and slash game, but you have to admit it has a pretty darn good storyline. This time around the game will tell the story of Death who is the leader of the horsemen and maybe the other horsemen/horsewoman while War is in Earth. Pretty interesting if you ask me.
