I did an online application for the SCB credit card for fun since they are giving away free GST plus cashback for new applicant last Friday.

Today they called and ask me if I am working in a MNC or any public listed company or not. I told him I am not. Then he said that they need an original EPF statement from the EPF kiosk to proof my income. I told him since it is so troublesome, just cancel my application and forget about it

Submitted application last week on Wednesday

Monday, PS called me asking for additional documents. Sent to him and he acknowledged.

Now, I am playing the waiting game.

@ronnie, I just got my 1st SC card approved. Should I go online and apply the rest or should I call my PS agent and ask them to add other cards to my collection?

I just called my PS agent. He told me now that no matter how many additional card I apply, I will only get 1 extra rebate.

Let's say I apply another 4 more to add to my BVP, I only get additional 1 extra rebate. So it is 300 (BVP)+300 only.

I told him to add in one Master Plat for me. I will go online and apply for another Visa Plat.

Is there any way to set the threshold SMS alert to below RM 250? Or RM 250 is the min that I can set.

I am still waiting for my last card to be approve. Not an efficient agent I guess. Already 2 weeks and everytime I ask him, it is still processing. That is the second card that I applied. The third card that I applied one day after the second had already reached me yesterday.
