The actual amount you get is rm288. Then -rm50 for the government tax. So it would be :-
Rm288 - rm50 = rm238 per card

Ronnie is right, you will received 2 cards.

But once you receive your card, you will only have rm188 cash back at the beginning and the other rm50 will be credit within 45 days. Base on my experience, normally you will receive it within 10 days.

And you no need to swipe 3 times to get the extra rm50 cash back. That is old promotion. You only need to summit your requested doc to your agent within 48 hours of submission.

Cash rebate for biz plat and plat = rm288 - rm50(GST)
biz gold and gold = rm200 - rm50(GST)


There is a way for us agent to help customer to get 2 cards, although the credit limit are share but you will get the cash back for 2 of the cards. Its not that you will get RM476 in one card. You get RM238 in each your card.

What plat that you have? Visa plat or master plat ?

SCB just launch a new benefit/promotion for all NEW-TO- BANK CUSTOMER.

- Cash back up to RM450 for platinum and RM300 for gold(upon approval) for new customer(GST deduction included).

- Upon card approval, customer are entitle special discount for Philips 32" LCD TV for only RM699 (RP: 999). Customer only need to top up RM249(delivery exclusive) for the TV since we given RM450 up front. the 5% is only applicable for customer who card approved starting 5/07/12 to 30/08/12. You will get the cash rebate for 1 year from date the card approve.

Unfortunely, EXISTING CC holder are not eligible for the offer.

RM450 is for 3 card, and apply online you and get max RM300.

Unfortunely, I dunno why SCB give double standard as in the end, Online Application are handled by agent.......

AS long you are holding any type of SCB CC. You are not eligible for that offer.

So, unfortunately, alexwsk are not eligible for that.

You can get a total RM600 cash in total (3 cards). I have customer that done so.

RM600 - RM150 (GST) = RM450.

I not sure wheher you can get the cash rebate 5% petrol if you upgrade your card. I have customer trying now, will let you know the result later.

Ah, sorry for the wrong info. Not really a fan of online apps. Anyway, you will get the RM150 1st. then within 60 day. You will get another RM100.

RM200 - RM50 + RM100 = RM250
