Well, my RM told me no cash back. But because of what you mentioned above, I called CS and was told. yes, I do get RM120 and after less GST earn RM70 smile.gif Thank you Sir. Got to go charge the card 3 times within 30 days.

Just to add, today look at the back of the card and saw Toll Free number for CS  thumbup.gif When I activated the card, called the number stated on the letter that the card was attached to and had to pay for the call.
*
Gen-X, do you mean you have the RM70 net credited into your card account already, or you have to swipe 3 times within 30 days to get the cashback?

From what I understand, they will credit RM120 after I swipe 3 times. Aiyah, now that you asked, forgot to ask CS when my statement date  doh.gif

*
That's strange. When i received my VI, the RM120 has already been credited, no condition to swipe 3 times. The RM50 has also been debited. Wonder why their procedures are not standardised. rclxub.gif

Not for the RM70 I guess because it is shown as credit in my account when I checked online. Guess I still need to swipe for the GST RM50.
*
Shouldn't the RM70 be net of the GST RM50 already? My RM70 upon card activation comprised 2 entries, ie, credit of RM120 and debit GST RM50, resulting in a net cash back of RM70.

I'm considering of applying inifinite card.

1. What is their annual fee?

2. Can I withdraw cash from the cash machine?

Any more info that I should know pros and cons?

TQ!  wub.gif

1. Annual fee is RM800. But i think they still have the offer of 2 years fee waiver. For waiver of 3rd year annual fee, you have to spend a minimum of RM10k on the card during the 2nd year. I can't seem to find this in black and white, but this is according to my Relationship Manager.

2. Yes. The cash advance limit assigned to me is 90% of my credit limit. However, I would advise against utilizing this facility due to the high interest rate charged, except in the event of an emergency.

You do know that you have to be an SCB Priority Banking customer in order to apply for the card? AFAIK, this is the best card issued in Malaysia for domestic and international airport lounge access privilege.

QUOTE(hye @ Oct 17 2012, 09:58 AM)
Just to clarify. SCB do have Titanium card but no longer open to new applicants. It became the "exclusive" card now.
You do have SCB Titanium card holders in this thread. (I can confirm that)

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Oct 17 2012, 10:53 AM)
It is no longer offered. Discontinued.
*
Standard Chartered has discontinued issuance of this card. However, those who applied for it when it was launched still hold the card today.

The main feature of this card is that it earns the cardholder cash back up to maximum RM600/year for transaction(s) on Fridays. drool.gif

GST cannot be waived. Banks can offer you GST offset but they still have to pay the GST to the Government on your behalf.

Agent will ask you to swipe 3 times. Then they will reward you 11000 points that can offset the GST using 10000 points. You still earn extra 1000 points. smile.gif

Exactly what happened with mine on the anniversary date earlier this month, except that it was by the CS instead of agent. smile.gif

I've proceeded to CANCEL the card instead.... now waiting for Cancellation Dept to call me....

I thought they are quite aggressive in trying to retain customers. Mind sharing what's your annual spending on this card?
