QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Feb 14 2012, 08:21 PM) Actually, I have no complaint at all regarding their cash back because I think they are quite generous. Other card may gives you higher percentage but limited to RM50/month. Business Plat cash back isn't limited. Since I was using them primarily to pay for my bosses flight tickets and gadget purchases, I get higher rebate at times compared to my OCBC plus points on top of it. Not to mention they also waived your annual fees and GST. I just take the cashback thing as an example since they do revert the decision after getting feedbacks. Like you, I am also not happy with the high points for redemption, so yeah, if you actually state it as a reason for termination, they might actually listen . QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 28 2012, 11:28 AM) No SMS also on the 20% Online Bill Payment promotion.... could all this be a scam by SCB ? As long as someone reported receiving the cashback, then we shall know. One more day. Hard to believe if none of us here is the among first 20,000 customers haha.

QUOTE(ronnie @ Mar 9 2012, 06:43 PM) That's standard procedure to retain CC holder... I really need to give it a try before anniversary. i actually did a test for GST waiver only. Was told that I need to swipe 3 times and then only give them a call for waiver. No mention of waiver in what form, cashback or ChoicePoints. Please share your findings.

QUOTE(bryan_x00 @ Mar 28 2012, 09:44 PM) how about biz plats v biz gold? Any different? Cant seem to find the extra info from their website Now that you say it, the website is really lack of info. I hardly find the benefit such as access to lounge or choicepoints for the plat business card too.

Just made a call to SCB to request for GST waiver. They dont offer 11000 CP anymore, instead direct cashback of RM50 which is better since 11000 CP does not translate to RM50 in their RM50 shopping voucher or RM50 cashbach redemption programme. Will appear in banking system in 3 days time.
Maybe the 11000 CP offer will be given in the situation where you have used your 10000 CP to offset GST beforehand.

QUOTE(ronnie @ Apr 3 2012, 04:16 PM) That's even better... do we still need to do 3 swipes ? 10000CP is needed for GST waiver also... Yupe, the CS rep today mentioned that I have indeed made 3 swipes before proceeding. My CP is not enough

This is unexpected! Remember I mentioned RM50 GST waiver is given directly instead of 11000 CP? Guess what, indeed RM50 GST is credited to the account and today my statement shows that 1000 CP is given too

QUOTE(fastreader @ Apr 20 2012, 12:09 AM) how do i increase my credit limit?..do i needa talk to the branch?..or can do it online?..i needa increase by Rm1k only.. Added on April 20, 2012, 12:14 amAnother question, "Currently Outstanding Balance"..that is the balance tat i owe the bank?..because they just approve my card and they deduct RM50 for the GST..so left RM100 which is stated as "Currently Outstanding Balance"...meaning this is the amount tat i can spend or the amount tat i needa pay the bank?.. 1- call us customer service and inquire what is the procedure. 2- current outstanding balance means what you owe the bank currently. The amount that you can spend is your credit limit minus this outstanding balance amount.
