Application Flow for SCB Visa Platinum
16 Oct : Submitted online (no calls were received)
21 Oct : Approval SMS received
22 Oct : Card approval date
23 Oct : Account viewable on Online Rewards
24 Oct : Account viewable on SCB Online Banking
25 Oct : Card delivered via PosLaju

* first attempt on 2-Oct failed becos application was lost due to unknown reasons *

SCB has a checklist to see if your CC is able to waive Annual Fee or not.
Unfortunately for me, I'm not eligible.
Still waiting for call back from Cancellation Dept.

The SCB CS has no details of the approved CC (SMS received on Sunday)... strange maybe now they have fake Approved SMS too.

They read out the New CC approved + Dates Approved and nothing NEW was mentioned.

I've got my final 7th SCB CC in my Online Banking today.
I was pleasantly surprised to get VISA PLATINUM LITE + RM300 Credit into my account.

I received a call last evening from SCB Customer Retention Dept which told me that the Annual Fee will be waived. Today check my Online Banking it's been waived... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
Cancellation can be done come Feb-2013 brows.gif brows.gif

Not for me... No AF waiver given automatically. I had to ask and force to "cancel" to get my AF waiver. But my usage of SCB is zero.

Normal scenario : Viewable Online, then receive the physical card
Better call the SCB CS to check
