Hi, I applied business visa gold via online last 2 weeks ago and immediately received sms stating that it was pre-approval and pending for supporting doc for final approval (I didnt submit any doc along with online application). The following day, I received call from their staff (standard chartered) requiring doc submit and applied another gold card after he assured that i would get 250 for adding on another card. After I had submitted all required doc through their branch last friday and I called the staff (I have stored his number blush.gif ) yesterday but he informed me that my application has been declined  mad.gif  I immediately call their SC to confirm the issue and the SC advised me to call their tele-marketing to re-apply and assured i would still eligible for 250 free cash through tele-marketing for applying cc. Should I still try it out (I have been informed y the staff that I need for another 3 months if I want to reapply)? hmm.gif  I am really confused for what they had told me  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

i suggest you to apply through online again, and wait for price solution to call you. anyway, did you ask the CS for reason your application is rejected?

that is a problem faced by some of us here, bug with their system maybe. just give that number a call and ask clearly whether you get the full cash back or not.

Maybe it's me but i would steer away from such stuff. The extra amount is not worth the headache and worries later on.

Received sms that my applications are approved. They have not appear at online banking but i discovered something. I am able to see them listed at the points redemption website instead. Or you can just call CS and ask tongue.gif

Yes... the 1st year GST is charged and payable. You can offset with the CashBack received upon card approval.
Annual Fee is waived for 2 years.

I notice in my Transaction Details, the Cash-back received (upon card approval) is no longer listed after Statement has been generated.... seems fishy
*
My cashback and GST are all listed down for the old card. For new cards, not yet reach statement date.

Transfer Points

You can now transfer reward points to your preferred nominees who hold Standard Chartered credit cards, in a few easy steps. Simply follow the instructions below to register family members or friends as your nominees, and transfer your points to them.

You also have the freedom to change your nominees anytime.

Example: Your spouse wants a specific product from our rewards catalogue, but does not have enough points on her SCB card to redeem it. With the click of a few buttons, you can now transfer sufficient points from any of your card accounts to your spouse's account for a small fee (terms and conditions apply).

For cardholders earning RM36,000 per annum and less, can only hold credit cards from a maximum of two issuers. This is the BNM ruling.
