do i really have to provide 3 months salary account statement to the bank even i show the epf, 3 months salary payslip, ea form, be form, confirmation letter, etc?

CL given is based on the applicant's salary isn't it. So your salary high then you get higher CL lo.

I plan to grab the Rm300 ^^, however before I click "submit"

I read the "Credit Card Annual Fees, Declaration and Acceptance" section.

It didn't mention about annual fee can be waived, Just worry I have to use that Rm300 to offset credit card annual fee, then it defeats the purpose already.

Anyone encountered this problem?

Currently I'm holding 2 CC already and I will only get my 2nd month of salary which prove my annual salary > RM36k per annum during end of this month..

Hi, most of us here reported that we are able to get AF waiver. However, if you are worried and wanna play safe, do call up CS to inquire further whether there is automatic AF waiver for first year.

My guess, the cashback promo will be held again, but not directly after august and/or with new terms and condition. Guessing only ya

Call just the customer service, he told me 1st 2 year AF will be auto wavier. After 2 years, need to use the card actively in order to get the AF waiver.

After 3 swipe can request to waiver the GST too.

so if we never receive preliminary sms approval on the same day of application, then we just have to wait for them to call?

just got mine. nice card. i applied through an agent i met here so will only get rm200. that's ok.. it is still good cash back. :-)

GST just got charged on my SCB MasterCard Platinum... Offset it with 10000 ChoicePoints more worth compared to 3 swipes (of RM1) to offset by CS.

Mine passed 30 days of card approval date but I haven't receive the balance RM100 yet.

Did you perform any swipes within the 30 days ? Is it longer than 45 days ?

Swiped more than 30 times, around RM5k.

It's 36 days from card approval date as of today.

Give it 9 more days.... you really use the SCB Mine is kept in drawer after finishing the FREE cash.

will scb approve cards for first time cc user without ccris record?

We do not work for the bank or approval dept... how would we know ?
Just apply and report back...

Not all will receive the sms as it subject to t&c but I reckon they will still call you pertain to the application.
