QUOTE(ronnie @ Jul 7 2012, 12:15 AM) alexwsk still hold a valid SCB Credit card... may not be valid. You are right, i read the statement wrongly. For your e$aver account to meet the criteria for the Preferred WMC card, do you need to maintain similar to the following? QUOTE A minimum average daily balance of RM6,000 on the Preferred M2 Account/SuperSalary Account must be maintained to be eligible.

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jul 15 2012, 06:45 PM) I upgraded even with balance due... it doesn't matter as SCB will issue new CC to you. Hi, did they transfer the Choice Points, and remove the old card from the online banking system? TQ

QUOTE(DM3 @ Jul 18 2012, 08:03 AM) but Ronnie you fulfilled the terms on being existing customer more than a year so you deserve it QUOTE(fastreader @ Jul 18 2012, 08:05 AM) lucky fella..but i tink its because u had been a card holder for a longer period.. "New Customers" mean applicants who have not held any Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad credit card whether as principal or supplementary cardholder within the past 12 months before the applicant's credit card under this Campaign is issued. Maybe its a hidden loyalty benefit

QUOTE(.M6 @ Jul 20 2012, 09:28 AM) I saw this one the Preferred World Master Card page: Preferred Banking monthly maintenance fee: The monthly fee of RM50 is waived for the first year. The fees for subsequent years are waived as long you maintain deposits and/or investments of at least RM72,000 or housing loan quantum of at least RM400,000 with us. After 1st year need to pay month fee RM50 since I have no deposits and loan with SCB? My interpretation is that RM50 fee is only applicable if you are holding a Preferred Account as well since it is found at the Preferred Banking site only.

QUOTE(wookayhua @ Jul 21 2012, 03:12 AM) But I have a question now: If you got a Platinium CC from Standardchartered, How do you settle the annual fee? Annual fee is RM250 for the Platinum or RM300 for the Business Platinium Use choice point? Or is there other way to waive the annual fee without deduce from the choice point. Last time SCB call me offer me to upgrade my visa gold to platinium. But i reject thier offer because of the high annual fee. Hi, try giving the CS a call about AF waiver. No harm asking.

QUOTE(Leong Forever @ Jul 22 2012, 12:47 AM) Hi Guys, I am SCB existing customer for using gold visa, i upgrade my card to Visa platinum and get 300 cash back. They will debit with me 200 - 50 (GST ),bal 150. There is another 100 they say will debit to me if i use my card for at least 3 times May i know what is the benefit of using the plat card and do they waive my annual fees? I really no ideas about this . Anyone can share to me. If the annual fees is high i might dont want to use it Hi, how did you request the upgrade, through fax or by calling the CS? In most cases, you can get the AF waived by calling up CS. They will ask you to swipe at least 3 times during the month for the waiver Here is a simple comparison for both cards: http://www.standardchartered.com.my/person...ex.html?chk=4:5This post has been edited by Human Nature: Jul 22 2012, 01:09 AM

QUOTE(andyfriends @ Jul 24 2012, 12:00 PM) is it that it means we have applied? i dont wana apply first until i am sure that existing user is also entitled to the cash rebate of RM300. I have tried, the CS will insist that it is not entitled.
