I used http://www.booking.com loved this website because it allows you to book without the commitment of paying (but they do capture your credit card details as a guarantee for no show) and sometimes they even throw in free cancellation if you cancel about a week before. And its always about $1 to $10 cheaper than other sites. This post has been edited by Sarah3773: Aug 1 2017, 07:54 PM

Those who says agoda.com accepts debit card apparently didn't read their terms and conditions on their website. I've print screen the FAQs for you guys. "Agoda.com only accepts credit card (Visa, Master Card, AMEX, JCB and Carte Bleue) and PayPal. You are required to fill in your credit card details or log-on to your PayPal account to complete the booking process. Currently, all other methods of payment are not acceptable." See the attachment.

Literally, on the site it says no debit card but as long as your account has enough money, regardless Maybank/CIMB (I've tried these 2), agoda.com will accept them. They'd just charge and block the amount needed to pay them in advance.
