Hi all,

I need painting service for condo, 2383 sqft. Kitchen n toilets fully tiled.

(1) interior walls,
(2) Grills for 2 balcony and 1 main front firerated door,
(3) ceiling
(4) door - 8 doors (excl front main door)
(5) skim coat interior walls (no need for toilets n kitchens as tileup to ceiling). Some walls that will be boarded up as wardrobe so no need.
(6) 5-6 colors for rooms incl living and dining room

Need primer/sealant and 2 coats of paint.

Pls quote labor and materials excl paint.

I got extra skim coat left after the job and I use skim coat as putty filler to cover holes (quite big) , but the surface wont even after dry.

Skimcoat you can not apply more than 4mm thick.

Sorry to revive an old thread. My place had the plaster peeling off walls because of some water damage. May I ask which material is more suitbale to redo the skim coat? Stopping compound or the skim coat product like the PYE one?

Stopping compound or joint compound. After fixing your water leakage make sure the wall is dry and I would recommend joint compound if you going to DIY, as it is ready-mixed with good workability and less powdery when dried for you to apply finishing imo.
