for me this time plan is better than ip4s plan, I never call more than RM 20 (RM 20/0.15 = 133 mins)..

I prefer celcom because of its coverage in kampung (where I can make it as a hotspot to my laptop) since I don't have broadband at hometown smile.gif

now the plan comes with more data means I no need worry about the thethering...

btw, anyone knows which celcom/bluecube still able to put preorder for iphone 5? checked bluecube seems all kl/pj already out of stock.

guys, i'd just called Celcom.
Regarding the deposit of RM150 (Prime - RM98), the care consultant said it'll be credited to the first bill based on the T&C there.
BUT!! Still i have to pay for my monthly bill (even 1st & 2nd month). I was like =.=??, did she get it wrong for the first time. I asked for the second time, stating that I'd already pay for the advance payment (to be credited into first month bill), so means first two(2) months, I don't need to pay for anything, since after rebate, it was RM75/month. Again, she said: No, you'll still need to pay for every month. the advance is just like deposit. After 12month, only Celcom will pay back to me IN CASH. I was like WTF?! Is this customer care consultant well-trained? I thought stated clearly on the T&C, it is CREDITED in to the first bill, as I just want to x2 confirm with them. Ended up, I lagi confused now.

At the end, I didn't stick with her too long, as she seems like started to be less & less patience, sort of thinking: "What customer is this? Want sign then sign la. What the hell asking for so many ques.."

One chance given to Celcom.  shakehead.gif

I'm went to bluecube today and ask the same question about advanced payment as well, they told me it will credit to the first bill and carry forward until i used up all the advanced payment

shocking.gif Have to reconsider to initial thought of subscription with Celcom.

I think it depends on outlets/branches staff, I had SERIOUS BAD experience with DiGi before I porting to Celcom.
very Bad customer service both at branches and online system of DiGi, the complaint report i lodged is more than Celcom.

Can't deny so far my best customer service experience is with Maxis. but too bad my hometown coverage Celcom is much better.

Not really a saving, in fact just a gimmick. They sell their package at price of rm98, then said give rebate and it will cost rm73/mth for 24mths . If you compute it, 12mths is more worth because data package price will drop all the time as the competition between telco is too tight.

Imagine the data plan per mth will drop to rm55/mth after 1 year..... smile.gif

The only advantage of 24mths contract is that the warranty for iPhone is 24mths but not sure if applicable for iPhone 5.

The warranty is still 1 year even contracted to 24 months.

I was exactly think like you previously when opt for 12 or 24 months, but since the time I start to subscribe data plan (Digi Smartplan RM 68 for 3GB) about 2-3 years ago, and now it still selling at the same price (just notice DiGi has now promotion for smartplan, same price but high data volumn).

so far use Celcom for 7 months without contract and don't see any changes on the data plan yet, and I think I will go for 24 months as Celcom is the only one giving me best coverage experience (might not for you). Digi sucks all the while!

That was indeed our initial thought from the statement "The advance payment will be credited to your first month bill". You've got the right info from the Bluecube staff.  thumbup.gif
We're stunned by the hotline care consultant. Haiz. doh.gif
Haha. GG-ed by their staff.  rclxub.gif

Anyway, reading the T&C now, it should credit until you fully utilized the advanced payment.

CODE
Advance payment will be credited into customer account and offset charges from 1st bill onwards until full amount has been utilized.
Advance payment is non-refundable. All Celcom First Device Bundle Plan comes with contract and customer is bound to duration of the contract of 12 or 24 months. In the event of early termination, maximum penalty charges of RM1,000 shall be charged and any remaining amount from advance payment shall be forfeited.

Got my ip5 at bluecube paradigm, I regret that I didn't open it on the spot to check instead. I took it to the starbuck and buy a phone and thinking to activate my ip5.

When i open and check noticed there is few (3-4) very small little dark grey spot above the volumn key. (not easily noticeable)

so I take back to bluecube (its about 30 mins later) and i told them, they told me i not open on the spot, so cannot 1-to-1 exchange for me, who knows if I drop the phone outside and bla bla, but it not even more than 30 mins and I was still in the same building.

Well, end up i cant exchange, and call to celcom CS, they said they afraid cant help so because the Bluecube MIGHT not clear about what is the process to do 1 to 1 exchange because today is FIRST DAY.

oh well, the celcom CS ask me to write a complaint to Apple, anyway I don't think it is worked (nearly impossible to notice if take in picture). So I just leave it like that.
