Hi guys, I would really appreciate if you could help me out. My blackberry just got stolen yesterday and now I am changing to Iphone. Here's the question.

1) what is the difference between Celcom Biz and Celcom Exec? ( I was thinking taking the Celcom Biz/Exec i98)
2)I am planning to take the i98 on 12 months contract but I am a bit confused with the price of the iphone. It says on the website that for Biz/Exec i98, you are paying rm98 everymonth....and the device price is rm1438 while the upfront payment is rm300 and the total price is rm1738... so does it means that I have to pay rm1738 all together on the day where I go to celcom branch and then monthly I have to pay rm98? can I do monthly payment for the total price of the iphone?

p/s: sorry but i forgot to add that I'm planning to get the 16GB iphone.. thank you to all sifus

Sorry for the dumb questions but I just can't think right now.. still sad for losing my phone. (and may you burn in hell to whoever stole my phone! smile.gif )

guys, i've just started using iphone with celcom for 4 days now...just want a reconfirmation..because before I buy the phone I asked the Celcom salesperson at Kajang branch whether I will get bill shock/additional cost or not if I accidentally exceed my data allowance...and she said no; she said Celcom will just slow down the speed. Is it true? thanks smile.gif

Anyone hav "rattling" sound when tapping the top-half of ip4? Sound like metal-metal loosening. No issue in function so far.

Anyone who claims this rattling issue from clcm?

Just googled about it, and found this:
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/248182...tart=0&tstart=0

I guess it could be "NORMAL"..
As it does not intefere with the functions, i guess i am keeping this one - dont wanna gamble with a replacement unit - unless they give me a brand NEW set - which i very much doubt it!!
*
yeah..i'm in the same boat as you... we're not in the usa where they could just easily get a brand new iphone just like that...i bet if you come to the shop in malaysia and complain that the phone makes rattling sound WITHOUT any performance issues, PLUS there a lot of others have the same issues without drawbacks in its performance; you'll just gonna waste your time+energy+money. Plus, we still have a warranty

I'm facing the same here. They're f***ing bullshit! Perhaps they should prorate the RM98 since they prorate the date. Guess what, I'd register earlier one day than you and I've my bill which I need to pay the total amount of RM 124.60 which make me freaking out.

Indeed you're right, I should choose digi RM53 plan!

did they charge you for using extra on Data or for using extra calls/sms?

My extra data usage is just only RM 5.00 but their pro rate fees, goverment tax and some other stupid stuff charged me so much out of my expectation!
*
why did they charged u? isn't that they won't charge you once you over you data limit? instead they just slow down your speed

Unfortunately I read most of us may be perplexed at the Celcom bill. Let me share mine on the i98 plan. Please note that I did not exceed any calls or minutes from the free given one (eg 200 SMSes, 100 mins offnet calls, etc)

1st month bill : RM 435
- Upfront Charge : RM 300 (remember the deposit you paid?)
- i98 for the month : RM 98
- Prorated i98 - RM 28
- Stamp Fee - RM 10
- 6% Tax for i98 bill : RM 6
- 6% Tax (one-time) for upfront Charge : RM 18
- TOTAL before Rebate : RM 460
- Monthly Rebate : RM 25 (knock off from deposit for next 12 months)
- Net Bill : RM 435.

2nd & 3rd Month Bill :
- i98 Charge : RM 98
- Service Charge : RM 4.38
TOTAL before rebate RM 102.38
- Monthly Rebate : RM 25 (again knock from Deposit)
Net Bill : RM 77.38

As you can see there is a high charge in the 1st month of the RM 300 deposit as well as whatever prorate charges you have. Subsequent months is much much much lower if you use within the limits.

Those who receive the SMSes stating that use up to 50% of Credit Limit, it is probably just the RM 300 charge being prorated throught the month. I also got it but I didnt bother because while their system is not that customer friendly, they still did not charge me extra or whatsoever.

Lastly, maybe a good experience to share. Went to China 2 months ago and I got a Data charge of RM 385.92 for downloading about 20 MB of data. Guess what, i got the whole thing waived off because of their datas unlimited roaming package and still pay only RM 77.38 for that month.

Btw, I not any particular telco supporter (I used all lines before) but most things are explainable. Sometimes their Customer communication may just not be that great.

wait, why did they charge rm300 on the 1st month??? because we have already pay for it when we get the phone....right?

Yes, it's already paid for wan. In the bill, there is a cell that states deposit, and it will show up here and obviously deducted first lah before the rest.
*
lol...sorry...i'm still clueless... so does it means that we have to pay rm435?

The bill will show the net amount need to be paid. In this case would be RM 135 as the RM 300 will be knocked from deposit.
