I'm planning to go for Celcom with 3G, maybe just 1GB enough to use with iphone.
Anyone suffer sort of bill shock when it comes to Celcom? I know Maxis does, Digi does not but their coverage sucks in Sarawak.

For celcom i68, what happens if you exceed 800mb usage? Will get bill shock?

Better slow than bill shock. I am a bit surprised Celcom did not try to highlight about this feature. Digi seem to make a big deal about how it is able to avoid bill shock.

I went to Celcom Miri, ask about iPhone 4S. Staff say no brief on iPhone 4S plans.
WTH.
At least they tell me there will be stock tomorrow. I can't even reserve!

In Miri you cannot purchase the iPhone 4S. You have to order, and will take 2 weeks to arrive.
No different from ordering Apple Store MY.

Gaah. I can't pick up my reserve unit until they properly transfer my Digi prepaid to Celcom postpaid. Its the last unit again.

QUOTE(RadioShack @ Dec 18 2011, 03:42 AM) Why did you port from Maxis to Celcom ? Any advantage ? I was thinking of porting from Digi to Maxis coz Digi always got dropped line or missed calls eventhough my phone wasnt in use Anyone think i should port over to Celcom instead ? In Sarawak, Celcom have better coverage. I like Digi, but the limited coverage really can be troublesome, and Maxis is terrible for not implementing data throttle if you overuse your data usage quota.

QUOTE(s2000c @ Dec 18 2011, 06:16 PM) Another issue is iphone 4s only support 3g, u cant use 2g , some the wider 3g support will get more advantage. Can't use 2G? Are you sure? http://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_4s-4212.phpMaybe the iPhone 4S simply cannot toggle ON/OFF the 2G and 3G separately.

When I was using Digi prepaid, I was able to send cheap SMS/MMS to a friend who also uses Digi prepaid.
Now that I'm on Celcom i58, is there any way I can SMS/MMS to my friend (and does that person have to switch to Celcom?).

QUOTE(Hari Seldon @ Dec 29 2011, 11:11 AM) You booked with RM200? Or just put your name on the list? Put name on list only, and I did ask whether need to pay deposit but they said no need. On the day I did that, I went to the shop next door, they had the iPhone 4S on the spot, same price also with the plan so I straight away register there.
