Option 1: Will Celcom allow me to buy the iP5 and continue my existing data plan. What will the price of the phone then?

Option 2: Will Celcom allow me to buy the iP5 and subscribe to their new iPhone plan using my current number (tied with iP4S contract)? How long will the contract be? Is it 12 months + remaining months of the iP4S contact (November + December)?

Sorry if my sentences are confusing or anybody already came up with this question before.

1: Yes, if they're selling it outright. But you gonna need to pay its RRP (recommended retail price), not eligible for contract discount.

Btw just wanna add, once your contract with iPhone plan already lapses, your plan will continue on the same price on Celcom. Means that you'll be unnecessarily paying for the 'subsidised' price for your previous iPhone purchase. Better go towards other better-value plans instead (such as Celcom Biz P148 which comes with free internet). Just saying this since if you're on Digi, your plan will be reverted to normal postpaid after the contract period lapses (ironically, Digi's iDigi Plans are much of better value compared to its normal Smart Plan postpaid).

2. Currently, only Maxis does have this such contract-extension plan. For other telcos, you need to terminate your plan early if you're planning to bolt on with a new iPhone purchase with any contract plan on offer to use the same number. ETF charges may apply.

Wtf..I dunwan plan man !!! I'm gonna !@#@!$@!# them hard !

Errr, if wanna buy outright, better wait for Apple Online Store or wait for its availability in stores. Telcos gonna prioritise the ones who sign up for their service before the non-subbers, no doubt. And oh, they're actually called telcos in the first place, that's their core business.

Although I do agree that pre-order the Celcom's way does sound a bit silly.
