There is no definite answer to all the 3 options. Generally plasma tv perform well in dark room or area. But it is not as energy efficient. LCD is getting cheaper to manufacture. Good in bright room but not as good in dark room. LED is slightly newer technology with "improved" back lit. Even newer technology such as OLED is still expensive to manufacture in large panel.
