I have a 7 year old 2hp panasonic ac. Normal type ionizer. Not inverter.

Can I upgrade to mitsu 2.5hp or 3hp non inverter and use back the existing piping?

Reason to upgrade: I feel 2hp not enuff power to cool down my main hall.

I wonder if a 2HP Air Cond be sufficient for the hall ( and living room connected ) - Mine is open space ( with windows ventilation )...not closed up. Really really hot these days.
