ya i hate i not able to disable my original tm Unifi router wifi. I only can hide it == using alternative wifi router for better protection.

Things u can do on wifi.

1) hide ssid
2) enable WPA2 encryption
3) allow only MAC Address defined
4) narrow down ur DHCP client numbers. Make ngam-ngam for ur house #computer numbers.


additional : troublesome but good enough : narrow down your network segment to /28 or /29 or anything related to numbr of ur computer. use class A or B. and disable DHCP.

incase you guys dont know, there's a software to record ALL your log in ids and password if you share the same wifi connection. Pros will understand what im saying

can check at setting right? it show ip adress who are using our wifi..since i always checked and only me using..but dunno la if curi one can't spot their ip..haizz

i hack my neighbour unifi 20mb

download porn and games 24/7
one day can donload 20-30 x rated porn movies + 10 games.

i go buy 20 monitor and watch 20 movies at the same time.
play games while inside toilet too.

me watch non stop, no sleep one week edi.


then today see my neighbour,
he smile at me, say lucky i steal his unifi
if not he cannot get to sleep, too many porn and movies to watch.

login modem, check dhcp clients. if only u using, will show u only

at least noobhacker won't get in so easily

If you bothered to even read, its just a half measure suitable for n00b people who dont know how to secure their wifi.

best is disable all DHCP, go static with your own customized IP range.

now, do you even know how to set this yourself? most n00bs dont.

my unifi is still safe...for now, couldn't be bothered to change it. Thank god my neighbors are IT illiterate old people.
