Just wondering if gastric will affect one from conceiving and also pregnancy? Anything can one who always get gastric do before conceiving? thanks.

I don't think it will affect conceiving but pregnant maybe will affect. My wife has gastric and hence always take food on time, only occasion maybe due to stress the gastric will attack. When she got pregnant, we taught she is gastric because her body got a lot of wind and always burb and worst she feel pain when press, hence the normal doctor gastric medicine cant cure. Hence, she admitted to hospital for gastro consultancy for check up and has to take controlled medicine to reduce the wind that cause pain. That time i only know my wife is pregnant. Supposingly the gastro doctor want to do "endoscopy" to see internal stomach, liver for any bacteria or ulcer. Since pregnant, she cant opt for that. I feel appreciated for the doctor proffesionallity which he suspect something and transfer my wife for gynae and further check up

Also i suggest you go do the blood test for "helicobacter pylori".

I'm one of the woman was easy to get gastric when im pregnant. Actually i'm pregnant for 2nd baby for 30 weeks now. During the first month until 5 months, i'm always have gastric, it's feeling like many wind inside the stomach.....
always burb!!! and " keluar agin".....smelly.....

My husband always keep complain on that time, i just ask him....who must responsibility...? who make me pregnant.
Haha....he just keep quite and shy....

Pregnant already is a very big "project" , somemore need to having gastric pain......omg...doctor was told me, pregnant woman was easy to get gastric one....even though you never have gastric before. or meal on time also.

Doctor also cant do anything...just give medicina (for pragnancy) only.

affect conceiving? I don't think so. Unless you took some medicine that is harmful.
I too have a gastric background and it does attack me whenever I'm "late" for food intake. But it's best to avoid any medication during pregnancy as I too, suffered from it a few times during mine.

Try to eat small meals frequently and if possible, don't take too much of cold/gassy drinks.
