i loved SMT,possibly more than FF,
just want to know who else is same as me.
oh, if possible, list out SMT's game you have played.

The closest you would get to a Megaten would be Catherine.

SMT games that I have played:

Persona 3 and Persona 4
Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2
Raidou Kuzunoha 1 and 2
Devil Survivor

Awaiting:

Catherine and Devil Survivor 2

To the TS, the only Megaten you have played was actually Nocturne only....... since the Persona series was never released as part of the franchise in Japan.

i played all this + P1, P2, DDS1, DDS2, devil's survivor, strange journey, and a little bit of SMT1. and yes, im a big fan of the SMT series

Well the original Megami Tensei (a.k.a. Megaten) series were only released for the MSX and famicom consoles in the 1980s as a flagship to the "Shin" Megami Tensei games which are known to be spin-offs.

So yeah..all SMT titles are spin-offs.

SMT Persona 3 Portable and must say I loved it.....
Now itching to play PES 1,2,4,SH,DS but I don't have PS1,2,DS,PSP (:

Oh nice, finally more Atlus, especially SMT fans. The first ever Atlus games I played was Persona 1 for ps1.
Then my friend introduce Nocturne, oh i can still remember the many nights i played this game.
3 of my friends can never pass Matador, then they quit playing it. And I always tell people who think they're hardcore RPG fans, if you can even get pass level 20 aka Matador, you're qualified =p

So being a hardcore SMT fan:
SMT Nocturne : complete with full demon compedium
Persona 1 - completed it ages ago
Persona 2 - no chance to play coz ps1 broke down after that
Persona 3 - didn't complete FES, but completed everything else
Persona 4 - fav. persona series, completed everything too

Digital Devil Saga - completed everything too, and meeting the secret boss is nostalgic

Devil Summoner series - not a big fan, was ok.

I don't think Digital Devil Saga is officially a Megaten title. It was called Digital Devil Saga : Avatar Tuner in Japan. When localised, they added the SMT franchise = SMT : Digital Devil Saga. The same with Devil Summoner. The only true addition to the series is Nocturne.
Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe my sinka-rism theory is getting ahead of myself.

finished persona 3, 4 and devil survivor
my fav is persona 4, stylish presentation, likeable characters, fast paced battles. and yeah, i prefer this more than final fantasy
