So far...does the white powder lead to any engine probelm ??

Just got my seat replaced coz of the stupid "knocking" sensation felt at the back of the seat. Warranty claimed took 1.5 weeks. Got it fixed within 5 hours. Well, sent the car to the SC 10am, got it back 3pm.

The problem is the white PLASTIC thing shown on this pic, (for those who wanna know how the inside of the seat looks like). According to the Service manager, this is the only seat so far for Honda, which comes with the white supportive part as PLASTIC, instead of Metal. So he's looking at many warranty claims to come later in the future, he also say headache when he saw the part made of plastic instead of metal.

So yeah, this is part and parcel of Honda trying to reduce costs.... (or trying to make the car lighter) by putting in plastic supportive back seats. (or watever they call it). He say "heavy" people will tend to come back more for this seat warranty -.- . Or some ppl having certain "activities" in their cars. haha.
Honda if you're reading this, pls recall the seats!

Guys I need help:
I took my insight to the guys on the lowyat forum with to smoke the headlamp.
I noticed after doing the smoked headlamp that when I turn on the lights the lens looked quite dirty (the halogen lamp) to my horror there are scratches on the lens on the inside.  Now I don't know what to do.  My options are
1. buy a whole new set of honda insight headlamps which will cost a bomb and not sure where to buy only found some on ebay for rm1300
2. try to find some place that can get rid of the scratches inside the lens
3. upgrade to eagle eye lights but the problem is they are not even out for honda insight
Please help help help

Two days after having Insight, I still haven't got a chance to read the owners manual. So far my likes and dislikes -

Likes -
1. iPhone works! Wow can select albums playlist artist etc. I knew earlier can play but didn't realise that it can really do selection just like the special iPod kit found in my mercedes. Best of all can even charge the iPhone 

2. Auto lights and if I'm not mistaken auto wiper too. Again mostly found on contis.

Dislikes -
1. Getting a fair bit of vibration. Dunno from where but suspect the tires. Any comments?
2. Wish the door would auto lock. Ask SA at service centre they say they don't modify
3. Wish wing mirrors would auto fold in. Why they don't include this as standard?
4. Only one remote provided - how to order another and how much?
5. Key too long - wish it can fold

The auto start stop and Aircon cut off don't bother me as much.
Now need to RTFM so I can learn more cool stuff about the car

For me i really not used to the back view when i look into the rear mirror. perhaps i need a rear wireless camera + lcd display?

When i took my car tis evening i only get full tank of petrol, umbrella & keychain only. neck pillow out of stock

gosh, now i'm hearing knocking sounds when i accelerate or deaccelerate at lower speeds. Anybody knows what's going on and what I should do?

ps: i like these horns too. Lol. Looks cool and surely would sound way better than this peet peet sound stock horn.

Whats good brand and model for nice pair of tweeters and speakers? Something like 1K and below range.
Would 3 way speakers plus tweeter make the sound come out really sharp and not nice to listen?
or would a normal speaker + tweeter be a better combi? or does it depend on budget?
Any audiophile expert wanna share their thoughts and opinion?

My third filled up today. Odometer at 1050km. My FC is only 18km/L
How I calculate is jot down how much I pump in each time and also note down the km done.
I use iPhone app to keep track and calculate so can't be wrong. This is most accurate way to calculate.

If according to the onboard trip meter, it says I average about 20km/L

My usage is mostly highway. Hardly any city driving. Light foot driving

I hope it gets better. I expect at least 20km/L.

How the heck can ppl get 25km/L?  Just no way!
