I dont think they can easily void your warranty. And i agree that the lifespan of semi syn oil is more than 5K km, especially in our car which is equipped with gadget that further reduce engine operating time (idle stop, battery coasting etc.).

Also the claim will depend whether its service related or not. Eg if we are claiming seat got nyek-nyek sound, suddenly they say warranty void coz we extend our service, they are simply stupid

In US for example, u can conduct your own service but keep the engine oil/filter/parts receipt. As long as the car is under warranty, u can claim. Now that is professional.

so how is it... notice more wind noise when you're cruising @ 60-70km/h ++ ?

I am a 'soon to be' Proud Insight Bro too and I am getting my car next week 
I have been reading the forum and notice that there are few things to do when you get your Insight.

1. Door Visor
2. Auto Lock Function
3. Pedal Lock
4. Tinting (Of Course)
5. Bodykit
6. Carpet Matt
7. Boot Light

Would really appreciate to remind me if I have miss out anything other than above.
If possible, roughly how much does it cost to install the above items.
