Open firefox or IE, type 192.168.1.1 and enter, input login and password for your router. Find settings for LAN and DNS and change it. Every router more or less the same.

U haven't change the DNS. Look at "preferred dns server" and "alternate dns server". Change it to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively. Find it in setup or advanced tab.

Even if they did, it is easier said than done with the current prices of oil going up and up.
Everywhere in the world prices are going up. WHat makes them think that we can maintain current prices?

Anyways, I am totally against this ban.
Who is the gov't trying to suck up to?

Yeap, those things have nothing to do with the internet (maybe), but they have everything to do with the GOVERNMENT. And the GOVERNMENT is the one who impose the blockage. But to think of it, why would u find taxes and inflation irrelevant to the internet service? We pay more for less petrol, pay more for less water and electricity, pay more for less service, pay more for less Internet. Geddit bub??? And why should u trust the government anymore when the PM himself said they won't censor the Internet then this happen? This statement wasn't speculated by harakah or suara keadilan etc but from Najib himself. Who knows what promise would he be breaking in the future. I'm not siding to BN or PR but we need CHANGE my friend. This internet thing is just the tip of the iceberg. Lastly, everyone here know u r referring to my statement so just give up the act. Unlike u, my love is for my country not for the government..

Yup, maybe off topic. But I'm just pissed up @ someone in denial.. Back on topic, for those who find their speed getting slower u can try VPN to surf anonymously. I'm suspecting TM is throttling downloads from those 10 sites even if it's still accessible through public DNS. For example a download from megaupload will start with max speed but it will get slower over time.

Sad to tell u guys but public DNS is no longer working. TM already blocked megaupload etc indefinitely..

Edit: Tried another ip and still manage to connect to mu, thank god. I think certain ip got hard block.

Woot!! I found a way to speed up megaupload for free accounts. Maybe can work for other sites too.

1. Create a free account.
2. Login to the account
3. Upload a small file (2-5mb)
4. After the upload done, download ur intended file (a movie or something wink.gif).
5. Pause the download (u will be able to resume later)
6. Go to megaupload.com and click filemanager.
7. Download the first file u uploaded back to ur pc (should get max speed)
8. After done, resume the 2nd download. U should get max speed as well.

Try it. Hopefully it will work for all of u.

Use megakey for megaupload, and premium link generators for fileserve, filesonic etc. No need for proxy or vpn. Easy. Search it.

That's because free users only allowed single download connection. If u use megakey, u can download like premium user. Multiple connections to single download (download accelerator support), download multiple files at once and can always resume broken downloads. Just go to megaupload.com now and click that megakey tab.

Enter 8.8.8.8 not 8888. Restart browser afterwards. Follow instructions on 1st page. If still unsuccesful maybe digi imposed hard block on the sites. Hopefully other digi users can lend some help here?

My streaming n browsing speed <10kbps since sunday. Dunno what happened. No announcement from tm yet. Frankly i dont care much because megaupload premium still performing strong. I can get full speed with multiple links for a file.

I've move to Unifi. I realize now having the fastest internet speed in malaysia is useless. Connections to international sites are always slow. We malaysians only have the fastest and most expensive INTRANET in the whole world.
