i did it already by retrieving contacts from my X6 to N8. not send from X6 to N8. but when i access contacts in my N8, this "unable to access cantacts saves to Service number" keep on popping out. damn annoying  vmad.gif
*
there's multiple way to restore all the items:

1. save all your contacts as .vcf files and copy it into the E:\Others\Contacts then u can get all your contacts back with no problem...
2. use the default file manager and do a backup (select the items u want) then connect using USB mass storage go into E:\Backup and copy all the .arc into your new phone E:\Backup folder (mass storage mode) then in the new phone use the default file manager and do a restore... remember this is good for contacts/calender/message and NOT SETTING...

few things need to consider about the solar charger....let say charging under the sun power, the phone/devise also under the HOT sun for long hour, which isnt a good idea for the devise
ture...even normal portable charger, the charging time is way longer than wall charger....i think solar charger is more slower the portable charger laugh.gif
*
aiyo... u no need to put along ur phone during charge up of the portable charger lah... from my experience using the device is it can't be charge full within 10 hours of sun exposure... sweat.gif

so the solar only good for emergency where u really need the power but no power outlet example would be during camping in the jungle... so normally when u have access to the power outlet then just use the wall charging which take about 4 hours to fully charge the device... nod.gif

how many amp a solar power panel can provide @ 5V?   doh.gif doh.gif

a fast charger are talking about 1amp...
*
the output are quite efficient the depleted N8 1200mAH batt able to be charge full within 2 hours... nod.gif

aik i think i get u wrong... the solar panel are 1.6w full power (max sunlight) so if 5v it would be 320mA that's why i can't get it fully charge within 10 hours of exposure and not to mention impossible to get max sunlight within that 10 hours... sweat.gif

so if u fully expose for 2 hours max sunlight then theoretically u can charge the n8 upto 50%... brows.gif

wondering how fast it can charge the phone, solar power very low.. hmm.gif
*
2 hours... (mean using the charged portable and not solar)

please don't confuse by the "solar" term... as the solar panel are meant for charging the portable battery within the device and NOT direct charging your phone... nod.gif

lol... the glance i see solar charger, im thinking put the charger under the sun and charge the phone....that's insane idea..... doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif
*
the scenario would be whenever u are outside, just put the portable charger under the sun to get it recharge continuously so it can fuel more time when come into charging your N8 or others gadget rather for other portable charger (without the solar panel) are fully rely on the wall output for recharging it's internal battery... nod.gif

buy a full car roof top size u can get it charge faster...  laugh.gif  tongue.gif

extra power non charging time u can divert it to ur car battery to charge ur car battery..  laugh.gif

320mA are slight higher than ur computer USB port can provide... laugh.gif
*
hahaha... if like that then meaningless already as it's surely not "portable" at all if i can bring along the car... tongue.gif

aik... USB current output soo low meh? isn't it max 500mA? hmm.gif
