Well, MKV is not a format, it's just a container. So if the movie is encoded with some format that are not supported by N8, it still won't play. The best way to check is to analyze the video with GSpot. It will reveal the codec being used and you can compare to see if it's supported format or not.

However, qt mobility is at 1.12 only... full package with Qt 4.7.3 + Qt webkit 4.08

BTW, Qt 4.7.3 is needed to install Qt mobility 1.12

This version is without qt installer. If you need qt, just scroll up and see my previous reply for Qt package.

Tried install Qt4.7.3 and Qt Mobility1.1x?

It won't be able to play it smoothly no matter which software you tried.

OVI Store problem is mainly due to Qt. I really don't know when Nokia gonna fix this problem. Few days ago, I reset my C7 again, and after doing SW Update to install OVI Store, i still ran into problem. It asked to update but after downloading, it can't install it yet again, just like last time. Finally, solved it by updating both Qt 4.7.3 and Qt Mobility 1.12 then only it will install and run as it should. It's strange that Nokia has insist on Qt but still unable to fix their own problem with Qt variation in their own backyard.

It might be more useful IF they improve on the sound quality.

It was designed to be a mobile wallet, isnt it? I think Japanese has this mobile wallet since I dont know when. But it seem they could to more with the European version.
