With a-gps it usually locks within seconds. Its not really expensive its about 10 cents per lock.
Nokia phones gps improved alot di. My previous E series and older version cant work properly in tinted cars like V-cool. Now this problem already resolved.

How can u compare like that? Best camera and u complaint its gps slow compare to other device. The other device combine together also cant take photo as sharp as the N8 le sifu

If other phones GPS also take 2 minutes, I have no problem with that. But if some only take seconds whereas N8 takes minutes, don't you start to question why?
As for photos. Well, while N8 may be better, I also see some other phones doing OK as well. In fact, if not for the free everything GPS of Nokia, I might consider an Andriod like the Samsung Galaxy S or S2 or even iPhone instead.
BTW, it is still hard to believe any phone without AGPS can lock in mere seconds but that was what I saw, hence my asking what's going on?
that depending on the hardware what going on is until today nokia do not have a 1ghz phone in market. Still running 680mhz. I dont complaint because i understand nothing is perfect. If i am rushing i pay for a-gps. Thats my opinion. Like web browsing yes N8 is disappointing thats why i have my ipad with me. I have the best of both world

Dont like that say later godlike sifu come and use machine gun shoot me le. From what i understand it could be the gps chip itself. I not gps sifu u wait godlike sifu come clarify this better.
Hi i want to know what is your normal 12mp saved image size... I usually get higher than 5mb... but after hard reset it goes 2 mb... and I notice got different in image quality also... thanks
It depends on the shot actually like scene mode , ISO, lighting. I notice usually in closeup the file size is bigger
My fren already flash it with that unofficial Anna he said he love the new UI and smoothness. He given me the installation files but I need my camera so ill wait for the official one.
