Well, if you forgot something, let me remind you, Symbian will be the last OS for Nseries, so it replace symbian in Nseries la. Not replacing N900 geh. But wait for N950 if u want, currently available for developer. Or you can get it in our next ranger meeting

Yea, I know; but N900 also falls in "N". It runs Maemo5, this N9 runs Maemo6/Harmattan.
N950, yea, heard there will be no warranty and no support, the device shipped out will be "beta" quality. Wonder if it will launch here; Nonetheless, OS wise, it's strays too far away from Maemo, it's much more simplified and the "app/icon" screen looks like Symbian Anna?

Anyway, just an opinion/pov coming from N900 perspective; But from N8 /Symbian device perspective, then this device looks good, a good replacement.

On the side note: wonder whats the "S" series? High End?

not a good replacement for n8.n8 is imaging flagship which is concentrate selling point on imaging.n9 cam module still far behind from n8.

wonder what it's sensor size for this 8MP module...

that's why nikon camera model is lesser MP compare to canon but still can fight with canon XD

somewhere stated the new camera module have "digital" shutter control....

they hide the sensor size info so "er,erm......" know la...lol
absent of xenon reli reli disappoint for me.

Are you sure the N9's camera picture quality is significantly worst than the N8? I am asking because pixel size is less important than lens and sensor size and both do have same Carl lens. Don't know about the sensor.

official explaination would be:we improve the F to 2.2 so the sensor size decrease.
TBH,improve to 2.2 its reli great but dun decrease the sensor size...pls...

only time will tell... so far it only have the F2.2 better then N8 F2.8... others like sensor size and MP still not overpass the N8... so we have to wait for its actual photoshots to be compare...

When upload to Facebook the best picture also looks sucky lol

pixel is 1 of the factor but not the main factor for me.personal usage for cam usually on reli dim light condition.absent of xenon reli cant snap great photo.

but the outlook of the camera seem puny... LOL
