Need help

My Xbox power brick just died and tried to scout around in KL for replacement.
But only manage to find that they only have the 203 watts, my unit is the Jasper unit and the watts rated is 150 watts.

Yesterday went to Gamers Hideout and the guy told me that Jasper can use the 203 watts but not willing to commit and get my Xbox fried.

So have anyone tried to use the 203 watts power brick on a Jasper unit.

Appreciate any feedback, too bored during school holidays not able to play my Xbox.

Form 4 physics.... You can use higher wattage power supply, it will be better. Won't get fried.

Higher WATT means the power supply can GIVE MORE power when needed,if the device wants more WATT than supply can give, then the supply might blow.

If your supply has the potential to deliver high WATT but your device doesn't need it, it just chills out.

My 360 is a US set. Connected it to my "pasar malam" size step down that is also powering my TV, VCR, PS3, Wii, DVB-T STB and PS2. Smooth leh.

Just get a good stepdown. Jusco sells them at their hardware section last I checked. Can get a 400 watt one (which is more than enough) quite cheap.
