trying to figure out how to uninstall some of the preloaded apps. Totally do not need prince of persia nor layar (whatever that thing does, it refuses to load completely)

I'm having trouble importing my contacts from my simcard >_<;;
i can't import even one by one. It shows up as "No contact listed" after the process....

did anyone have this prob before?

Added on June 5, 2011, 4:06 amhuh fixed. I had to check "All other contacts" under my gmail before it showed anything.

I still can't figure out how to uninstall those silly demo games that came in the x5. I can't get root explorer tho since I can't pay with google cashout yet.

Can Super Manager help me? it's supposed to have root file exploring functions but it cannot get rid of those games

I have the 5800 and I had some really nice pics from it, but yes it's a 50/50 situation with that camera.

Haven't tried the x5 in low light condition yet but indoor with considerable daylight is quite sharp. Motion blur are so-so.

Honestly phone cameras is something I never 'depend' on. I only use them to take impromptu snaps where quality isn't much of an issue, so to me the x5 is satisfactory so far.

Can't delete them still even with root explorer. The moment i enter /cust, the mount changes back to r/o and i cannot change it anymore^^;;

i hate taking with flash so maybe that's why my pics are 50-50

Anyway, I just installed Go Launcher and.... why does it keep hiding my phone calls?

I just got a sony ericson bluetooth handsfree today. Tested with both my nokia xm5800 n ideos x5. It was crystal clear on my 5800 but on the x5 it sounds like cheap walkie talkie radio!!! Whats up with that??

also, how do u guys feel the sound is like when making a phone call? im afraid my phone maybe a bit faulty.....

I tried two bluetooth handsfree, one nokia, one sony erricson (the one i bought)
Both sounded about the same on my X5 (i only tried this phone to begin with). Decided the sony erricson one was a biiit better. Then tried on my 5800 before finalizing buy. So suprised to hear on my 5800 it sounds just like I'm speaking on the phone itself!

I'll have to take some time out and bring this baby to the shop on weds to have it checked ;<

this phone should be able to play mp3 right?

orz okay it's just the mp3 files i downloaded thru the phone were.... 10kb each (whaa?)

Also, it paired but refuses to connect with my comp thru bluetooth. The pin number that i need to type in when I want to connect bt with the computer is not preset right? As in whatever pin I type on the phone, I'm supposed to type the same thing on the computer?

I haven't actually deleted or modified the phone (other than app downloads) since I rooted it, but I'm gonna try unroot and see if that solves it.

Unrooting the modaco root you just have to put back the original image file right?

I went to the shop today to check the bluetooth. The workers weren't very interested to entertain me^^;;;;;;
Mebe cos they don't have the answer or what.

One of them tried connecting with his phone to mine and managed to send a photo, but my nokia still cannot connect to the ideos x5. Do you guys think it might be a bluetooth 2.1 vs bluetooth 2.0 thing?

I was thinking of ordering some from ebay, but I just realised that the coloured ones probably look best on the white phone OTL

Was gonna grab the white one but changed to black when I realised they look exactly the same in the front.

Does anyone have the white silicon casing on their black phone?
Can show how it looks like?

Now installing another update for 10.3 tho. Will see if the line goes away.

Same here, I cannot uninstall any of the pre-installed apps too.
I give up di. I just use go launcher to hide them. Still got lots of space left to install. Later when near full only I'll try deleting them again
