QUOTE(Vagrante @ May 30 2011, 09:07 AM) thanks for the info, cause i read from gsmarena only mentioning 512 RAM and 2gb internal memoryi would like to hear more user feedback as some are reporting bad battery life, probably can be improved by flashing it to custom vanilla rom? i saw there's OC rom with 0 crappy bloatware in xda |

QUOTE(mavezai1984 @ May 30 2011, 09:25 AM) For me, Ideos X5 battery life turn up quite good, modarate usage would last me around 2 days, i'm pretty sure every android phone need some tweaks to be more mature in battery management, eg : screen brightness, data on/off setting, some widget like tasker to modified your daily use, overall Ideos X5 worth every cent i pay for and very value in the terms of performance and build. exactly, even i myself using galaxy s also need a lot tweaking to reach 2.5 days standby for froyo :\Cheer with 512mb rom is it sufficient? cause some of the apps cannot move to SD |

just wondering, is the 800mhz sufficient for daily use + gaming? cause i'll be getting it on tuesday, and my gf is kinda used to my sgs's speed already ,so don't want her to get disappointed with this new phone, if its necessary i might oc it to 1ghz, but of coz worry of overheat issue

i thought spec wise not that big gap with sgs? cause its scorpion + adreno 205, 512mb ram
quite close to sgs wut, and yea, my sgs is fixed with those patches, so can run quite smooth, of coz i don't expect this phone to run as fast as my sgs, but i guess won't be too huge difference |

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Jun 22 2011, 04:58 PM) The built quality an the design is actually on par with the other big players out there. speaking of that, yest i show my friend the x5, i didn't reveal the brand, then he look at it and seems interested...but once i told him the brand, he straight away back off Some of my colleagues even thought that my x5 is a HTC haha... In fact it does feel a lot like my first android phone the HTC Magic, just a little bit bigger i even told them its same spec as desire-z and oem from foxconn, they don't care also, lol and i tell him "even your iphone is also made in foxconn/china" , he return me this "nvm, as long as the rnd is in US" |
