So nice lah the phone. Exploring it right now.

Huawei was having some promotions with their devices @ Lowyat Plaza Ground floor just now when I went. They're selling X5 @ RM899 with free 4gb card and screen protector. Went upstairs and got mine for RM 850.  

Walao leh, MIUI also hit Ideos X5.

congrats!! u made the rite choice!! u saved at least rm400 buying exactly the same thing as htc desire z but wif a difrent brand!! altho huawei is still new to the phone market, but their specs of the products , price n quality is juz too hard to resist............

n nowadays specs of a phone plays a very important part when buying a phone since all android phones runs the same type of architecture of processors , gpus n OS.......so the oni difference between different brands of phones r  the price, design n specs.......

so the specs of a phone is very important , a 'less branded' phone wif faster processor ,ram n gpu will definitely outperform a 'branded' phone but wif lousier procesor,ram n gpu.......at the same price

conclusion is........dun go for the brand, go for the specs, the hardware inside the phone...........if i own an acer core i7 laptop n u own a sony core i5 laptop n both of them r the same price..........my comp will still trash ur 'better branded' sony comp........

Anyone want to swap my black with your white??

i've rooted my X5 but yet to custom rom, partition and etc. Anyone experience lagging? Esp when you exited any apps, and you can't move the screen for 1-3 seconds?

i prefer white

No need to act "'idiot". The authorised repair center I went to did not bother whether you root or not. When they does a repair they get paid by Huawei.

that means although it's original,
the shop repair it then the huawei will pay for them
however,
i think most of the shop will change a new one for you
as what i've heard about it

a lot of seller don't have stock on this phone... T.T

On B160 Rom the youtube closed browser is fixed

how long u took to boot into system after clockwork?? i wait for 2 hours ady.......

i do the clockwork recover. after it install the update.zip, then i select reboot the system from the list....then wait until now....==

hmm....lagfix can improve about 50% of process speed....so y not? but the problem is....i can't do it....the function is unavailable to allow me to do so.....any one can gv some help??? appreciated^^

i don't see any lag... dunno if because I just got it yesterday..

erm.....i already install the setcpu and clock my phone to 1.2ghz. is it mean i already instal B160 custom rom?
