QUOTE(cactuscch @ Jul 18 2011, 08:08 PM) Just came back from Jason/ Moon shop with my Huawei X5. The Huawei IME (Chinese handwriting) is really useful, make sure to root your phone, install root explorer, go to data/app and copy and save the IME apk , if using Titanium to backup and restore will causes error, need the apk to properly install.Jason installed some games and Sygic GPS for me. Now checking available space Internal SD: 1.52GB available Temporary phone storage: 459MB Surprise to know that it can Write chinese word. Can anyone guide me HOW to know how many applications I'm running because after I click 'BACK' button. I don't know whether the applications has hut down. |

QUOTE(azimlatip @ Jul 20 2011, 09:11 PM) 20 July release: Okokokok need 24 hrs to see the difference, but I think the screen tearing is already fix * Classic RCU added and default * Simple I/O scheduler by default * More battery patches from dzo, thank you! * A lot of other improvements that can be seen in my github That explains it. Haha. That battery patches is good I guess. Still trying to see the improvement over the older kernel.. But well, I'm sure there's an improve in performance |

QUOTE(salimbest83 @ Jul 21 2011, 03:18 PM) hi all. just got this phone on hand. 1. Yes, my x5 also shows the same, but dun worry, most apps and games can run.would like to experiment a bit. btw, got few question. 1. why task manager only say this phone got 130/353M Memory? 2. see that rooting is so simple, just boot with vol up+vol down, copy boot.image and replace the new one. let say, if wanna back to stock, just put back the stock boot.image one, rite? 3. if put custom rom and custom recovery, any way to back to stock rom one? hope its simple 2. Yes. 3. Install CWM V4.0.0.5 , do backup, when want to send to warranty, restore back. The old Rom will be restored. |

QUOTE(Ricky300 @ Jul 21 2011, 04:37 PM) Reason why I asked this is because i feel my battery comsuption damn crazy. The Huawei IME can be disabled in Language&Keyboard settings. I am using Latin IME, less laggy I unplug from chargin at 12.30pm just now. Now only leftover 75% -.-. Battery Calibration done. |
