Reporting in to V18.88.

Here i wan to share my review after i DIY my ori drop in air filter to open pod air filter.

Take me mins to dismantle the ori air filter, 10 mins to adjust the open pod position, 5 mins to tighten the screws.

After installation,

- my oil paddle suddenly become so light. blink.gif
- gain pickup, can reached 100km/h faster. Din record the time. tongue.gif
- din try top speed cos my tires not allow me to do so. Makan abit due to last time accident. sad.gif
- FC wise, i dono cos still got 1/2 tank to go. Just try caltax for the 1st time. So not sure with the FC. sweat.gif
- You can hear the air suckion sound when revving. brows.gif
- Will try to make a heat shield for it since Persona engine bay quite hot. that y i leave the ori air filter head there to let outside air in. icon_idea.gif

Sam, maybe will get your lcp, come satay celup at melaka la since u pass by. Muar a bit far la. Saturday need to work. LOL rclxub.gif

Ur car auto or manual? If u run on high speed with open pod, it's very easy for ur engine temperature to go up.. Especially when u do not have a heat shield..
*
Auto, that why i wan to DIY a heat shield ASAP. Cos after i drive, i open my hood and i can feel the heat near the air filter. I checked and see how is the FC, if too high then i plug in the ori one and change drop in filter. sweat.gif

Btw xan ur filter still available? Just in case to back up. LOL

I got this together with the universal handphone stand when i buy it last time. It is like a plastic plate with a double sided tape under it, the another surface is the to let ur handphone to suck on it. LOL

what else we need ?

Cable lug is to hold the cable and make it easier to install and attach. You need a cable clamp to clamp the cable with cable lug. My work place got so i diy those stuffs. Eric sell cable lug for RM3 Each.

This is how Cable lug look like

*
Wa, u wan eric send to me then i clamp for you, then postage to you? LOL. RM3 consider cheap already. He use thick cable lug not like the one sell outside with grounding cable. This cable lug is heavy duty for industrial purpose.

i dono where to get the cable as good as eric one.

Fastening or clamping cable lug requires special tool, though is primitive n some knowledge which orientation to clamp. if u clamp in a wromg orientation, then gg, u wasted a lug
*
Yeah, not only wasted a lug, if the lug cant be taken off from the cable, u need to cut the cable. Cable short d.

his GC inluding lug wan is it ?
*
His cable price is not including cable lug. need to add Rm3 for each lug. one cable 2 lugs.

I brought 4 cables from him WITHOUT CABLE LUG, total is RM69 including postage.

IF added Cable LUG is RM 69+ (8*RM3) = RM93 in total.

I bought from his is blue cable which is slightly exp. Rm0.30 per cm. The one in the thread i share is yellow one which is RM0.18 per cm. Blue is thicker a bit compare to the yellow one.
