im planning to send my car to puspakom for testing on the window tints. not because of summons. i go just because i am curious of the readings and i want a report on it.

question is, if tested and failed, will i get summon by them on the spot??? cuz reasons why i send it to test is so that i know whts wrong and i can correct it.

Just had my ignition timing retarded from stock "step 1" down to "step 3" to reduce my engine pinging noise. Now its 99% gone but then the car feels laggy a little and less responsive as before. Gonna have it reset again this coming week to "step 2" timing setting.

FYI, campro ECU got 4 steps of settings for the ignition timing.

they use PDT to reset the settings. but need to obtain access codes from HQ to do it.

what u meant by turned off the acceleration function??????? kindly elaborate please.

btw, that is called the purge valve for the IAFM unit. faulty units would cause light ticking noises during idle. the ticking noise is emitted by the purge valve itself and not from the IAFM unit. other than that, it does not cause any loss of performance whatsoever. Just a very light ticking noise can be heard while idle especially when the engine bonnet is lifted. I have replaced mine under warranty on the spot just last week.

as for the dislocated condition, ALL PERSONA vehicles are experiencing this. The plastic bracket with rubber insulation which supposed to hold it onto place is crap. You will need to either find your own solution to hold it in place or better, just get them to fix it.

FYI, i bet MOST of you guys aren't aware of something else is happening. Quite a few of the rubber hoses that runs around the engine bay is badly rubbing against each other and causing premature wear to the hoses. You really2 need to insulate them to prevent it from deteriorating prematurely. I myself have insulated quite a number of them nicely by using silicone rubber hoses cut to fit and tied with cable ties. Some of it i am using insulflex (for aircond hose) to insulate it.
