I'm thinking to get Persona M-Line as my next car, but after read through the last few pages of this thread ->
PROTON Problems Official Thread, now Im kinda hesitate. May I know how true is that the Persona will be problematic especially after 2-3 years ?
Thanks !

Honestly speaking, a car is a car. And u get what u pay for.. No matter what brand u settle for, it's bound to have some reliability issues.. I'm also quite worried that I'll get a lemon car if I settle for Alfa, but I love the 159..

Even if u're going for Toyotas, Hondas, or continentals, u can't be guaranteed that u'll get a car 100% free of problems.
As for the PE, I myself is an owner of it, and up to today there hasn't been any major issues with my car. Just some rattling or rubber noise that can be solved easily. Well at least until today. My car is going to look for it's new owner today...
If u're unlucky, u'll get a lemon unit like ckdenion's. Burnt pistons, burnt ignition coils, etc etc... Then this is the time for u to prepare ur lawyers to sue Proton & make like a million bucks out of them THEN settle for a conti car.
