Any other thing missing there on 20K service. Need to know in advance. Do you know which Petronas oil they used for free servicing esp at 10K?
kesian her she just part timer there only.. LOL.. now got 60mins service guarantee ady.. XD Normally for 1k,5k service they would use Petronas Syntium 800.. for 10k and 20k probably they will use Syntium 1000/3000.. 1000 is 15W-50, 3000 is 5W-40.. Choose 3000 if possible.. 1000 quite thick.. the engine feels heavy but gives the best protection.

After calculating individual cost, they're charging us at least RM1500 for the GPS and RM685 for safetint.
Sakit hati....torn the RM685 tint just like that, throw to longkang. I usually no need GPS wan...that a total of RM2185 overpaying.
btw. I notice there is a multipurpose container listed in our spec. What is that? If its a removable item like first aid kit, etc. I don't think I have that..anyone got a picture or a link to it..

Steering lock can use as speed deterrant.. to slow down cars that are annoying or going faster than us..

Yeah its cheap.. But the oil is 0W when u do a cold start.. The oil is so thin, ur tappets will endure a lot of wear and tear in the starting up process and engine will become noisier very fast..
Onijoseph: Oh now i know what u meant by every 30secs.. The shhhhh sound u hear, if u noticed, only happens AFTER a few secs when u turn the steering or use the brakes or the aircon compressor kicks in.. Its the orifice valve releasing the pressure after the builtup due to the pump working for ur steering and brakes.. if u go on a straight road, dont use brakes and not turning the steering u wont hear the noise..

0W rating is for Winter...0W30 means the oil will perform the same like 30 SAE in minus degree(there is a range, i forgot, but not relevant to us) as in normal hot warm temperature. It's the back no. that is relevant to us. 0W30 and 10W30 is the same in Malaysia weather coz we don't have no Winter....Genting Highland also tops like 16C...the 'W' ratings handles in range -ve X Celcious.
ouc ic, then zeng, do you recommended me to use diz lube? or stick with magnatec
Magnatec is semi.. Edge sport is fully sync.. So theoretically can be used without any problems... If u can wait another 2 mths then i will change my lube to this for a try..

Nope.. Camber nuts normally dont need to change.. Unless ur alignment lari too much and u never align it back till the nuts also worn out or u mega hit the biggest pothole u can find in kl sideways.. That one sure camber nut bengkok like unknownhammie's one.

Oh just try ur luck lah.. Go to COSE and claim warranty.. Normally they are very lax with their service history.. If its spoilt they would probably replace it for u.. Btw COSE is Centre of Service Excellence, along the kesas highway towards klang.. Be forwarned of super slow service.

Muffler not so possible.. Cos the ori extractor is 4-1.. then there is a tabung tengah, so the exhaust air flow is smoother, no prap prap prap prap sound..

Yeah change extractor first.. U change muffler also no use.. Not much performance gain..

btw, that is called the purge valve for the IAFM unit. faulty units would cause light ticking noises during idle. the ticking noise is emitted by the purge valve itself and not from the IAFM unit. other than that, it does not cause any loss of performance whatsoever. Just a very light ticking noise can be heard while idle especially when the engine bonnet is lifted. I have replaced mine under warranty on the spot just last week.
as for the dislocated condition, ALL PERSONA vehicles are experiencing this. The plastic bracket with rubber insulation which supposed to hold it onto place is crap. You will need to either find your own solution to hold it in place or better, just get them to fix it.
FYI, i bet MOST of you guys aren't aware of something else is happening. Quite a few of the rubber hoses that runs around the engine bay is badly rubbing against each other and causing premature wear to the hoses. You really2 need to insulate them to prevent it from deteriorating prematurely. I myself have insulated quite a number of them nicely by using silicone rubber hoses cut to fit and tied with cable ties. Some of it i am using insulflex (for aircond hose) to insulate it.
Hmm cant really find which is the sensor plug.. Although i dare not cabut anything in case it get loose in the future..

Good brands, tried and tested, easy to maintain. All meguair's series.. Their car wax NXT techwax 2.0 is very good.. Polymer tech same like ONR.. Very easy to wax too.. For Washing Polyglaze with polymer tech, ONR (the best and fastest and easiest). Best is to buy a clay kit to clay ur car first, so it can enhance the shine a lot more..
