OC genie, auto overclocking

Im using MSI 870S-G46 and it has OC Genie (auto overclocking) feature. Anyone know how does it work? I google ard and all i hv to do is just press the OC genie button and it will optimize the best oc setting for me.. is it true?

It will OC for you, but whether its the 'best' is highly debatable. If you really want to OC, doing it manually will give you better results nine out of ten times.
The OC Genie button is for people who want to OC but aren't tech savvy enough, or not willing to spend time reading up on manual OC-ing.

Will it optimise the voltage as well or we need to set it manually? Do i hv to run some test (primus 95) to ensure is stable after i use it?

hehe, amd platform, you can continue here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1601279i not sure how optimize can this auto overclock feature go. but i got friend that on asus board, after enable asus own auto overclock feature, it overclock the cpu from 3GHz to 3.45GHz, and vcore increase from stock 1.425v to 1.536v, which is i think not necessary.
