if i used Tamiya compound to rub off d nub mark on metallic surface e.g on chrome / gold plated, metallic or glossy HD kits...will it damage d parts finishing?

But I tried d thinner with Tamiya X11 Silver Chrome marker, no effect... My guess is its enamel based, correct me if I'm wrong...
For that u can use Zippo fluid to clean...
