AGE Gundam looks okay actually, acceptable design.
1. head & antenna share same mold 2. has vents in circular shape 3. 'missing' forehead jewel design other parts looks like hybrid of RX-78 & 00/Exia. |

yeah too much complaining even before the anime is out.
let's just accept that this is made for the kids, & decide whether want to watch it gundam kits are coming out very early, as any other movie merchandises nowadays.. (1/6 figures, TF toys.. all released months before the actual movie itself) so take time to enjoy the anime before buying the kits. or if u think the design itself kick @ss, then by all means, go get it for me if at some point of GundamAGE there came a very cool mecha with a good story to back, who knows, that'd be my 1st GundamAGE kit. |

QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Jun 21 2011, 07:18 PM) Conclusion? It's a kit where the flaws outnumber the pros, yet it's unconventional design makes it an absolute fun build. The 1/100 with its larger parts might not be as fragile during the assembling process, but I am sceptical about its durability since the joints will have to support even more weight. 1/100 is floppy for most SEED-era kits btw grabbed this baby which is just restocked recently, after a few years being obsolete from market.. i bought it bcos i think it's still the most original grunt unit from SEED ![]() gotta say it's pretty good kit. since on its box there ain't a picture of the unpainted kit, it turns out the lighter gray actually contrasts with the darker grey more on the actual kit, & the lighter grey is actually very light shade of green (if anything it actually follows the mecha artwork colors more than everything u see printed on the box) the kit is more detailed than expected, however not much painting needed except for the red (i use dark pink) on the vents and white on the blade. articulation is not bad if not for the exposed knee joints when posing & elbows which can't quite get past 90degrees. comes with optional missile pods on the legs, good rifle which can be attached to its back, a copy of extra right hand & without a big-@ss bazooka overall an accurate & easy-to-build kit for it's price. |

QUOTE(mf_yamato @ Jun 21 2011, 10:06 PM) got it for 40 bucks in penang, shd be cheaper down there in KL.. and oh.. one more thing is the wing binders can't be flipped backwards & upwards much, like what Freedom's backpack can.. kinda wasted all the details there, although minor mod will fix that.. |
