i jz use my extra PC fan
using 8AA batteries to power it, lol


its quite dark inside the box, so i made a hole n covered with plastic wrapping
maybe will try getting small bulbs or LED to light up inside

thought of that, but PC fan need 12V to run at full speed, 8 x 1.5V = 12V 

RGs inner frame sure need lots of trimming.. and I'm afraid I might break something while looking for the articulation points

the plastic feels a bit soft.. PC-ish like material

Guys, I'm thinking of starting a 1/144 collection just for kicks, leave them in action poses. Thinking of starting off with 0 Gundam then 00 and Seed.

Do these kits require lots of coloring? I'm afraid that lots of pieces are just one solid piece/one color and that it will need to paint a lot if want to make them look worthwhile.

that was his old loyal Freedom, badly damaged many times but still fixed n served well until destroyed by sneaky Impulse Gundam
his Strike Freedom is the godlike 1, nvr a single damage to any parts

n hell, Wing Zero Custom got KOed by grunt units (but thats 1 against hundreds la  )

used to have 1/100 aegis. never did able to make it stand properly

fixed, lol 

1/100 is floppy for most SEED-era kits

btw grabbed this baby which is just restocked recently, after a few years being obsolete from market..
i bought it bcos i think it's still the most original grunt unit from SEED


gotta say it's pretty good kit.

since on its box there ain't a picture of the unpainted kit,
it turns out the lighter gray actually contrasts with the darker grey more on the actual kit, & the lighter grey is actually very light shade of green
(if anything it actually follows the mecha artwork colors more than everything u see printed on the box)

the kit is more detailed than expected, however not much painting needed except for the red (i use dark pink) on the vents and white on the blade.
articulation is not bad if not for the exposed knee joints when posing & elbows which can't quite get past 90degrees.
comes with optional missile pods on the legs, good rifle which can be attached to its back, a copy of extra right hand & without a big-@ss bazooka
overall an accurate & easy-to-build kit for it's price.

got it for 40 bucks in penang, shd be cheaper down there in KL..

and oh.. one more thing is the wing binders can't be flipped backwards & upwards much, like what Freedom's backpack can..
kinda wasted all the details there, although minor mod will fix that..
