what I mean is you've previously spent a bit more on the cutter, who knows later you'll find a super-bargain-dirt-cheap kit..?

unless you're a serious builder/modeler, which is more than one cutter is needed. each for different purposes

that RM50++ is sorta basic/entry level cutter iinm. the around-RM100 is more premium-ish

the more expensive one gives better finish.. cut the part from the runner with a cheap cutter first (leaving about 1mm of nub), later trim it with the expensive one to give it more finesse~

talking about HGs, the other day helped out my lil' bro assemble his HG 00 Raiser. suddenly felt interested with HGs

smaller size, less space needed to display, even for a bulky 00 Gundam with 0 Raiser docked on

Added on June 9, 2011, 10:02 ama way to preserve your oh-so-valuable-expensive cutter is only use it to trim out excessive nubs. when cutting the parts from the runners, just use a cheap one. remember to leave some nub to be trimmed later

too late lah. already bought me self the RG Aile Strike on the first day of last BAKUC. already hooked the other day seeing a scanned copy for the manual of RG RX-78 somewhere in the internet. interested with the way it'll be assembled. later heard the news of RG Aile Strike about to be launched, already set it to be a must-grab

seems like I can no longer use the "strictly MG" policy after this

that depends. in terms of details, RG Aile Strike is waaaayyy better than the MG

the RG can be summarized like this: MG articulation & gimmicks with PG-like details, in HG size

my RG Aile Strike is still in pending list. currently working on my MG Sword Impulse

from the manual, it doesn't look that hard. it's just that it has its own unique way to assemble, especially the inner frame since it comes pre-assembled. just cut it away and follow the instructions

you should ask an RG veteran, like Agito

btw, the design looks like 0 Gundam to me

they started to get bored with Gundams vs Gundams maybe?

anybody got experience assembling MG Impulse (either Force @ Sword)..? I found that the joints especially in the knees is very tight. afraid might break something if push hard

oh really..

mine's a bit tight.. quite hard to bend it like beckham.. seeing how fragile the movable hip parts, I'm afraid I might break something. also, it has so far the weirdest inner frame of all MGs that I have

....and let's just hope it'll stay that way

enuff la for this month. just started my MG Sword Impulse. so far only finished the whole inner frame. I guess it'll only be completed by mid-month or later. then will start on my RG Aile Strike.. hopefully will "burn" some time, just enough until my next payroll came out. maybe that time stocks for the MG 00 Raiser already stable (and also the price), then I'll grab it

me like to take time. me still newbie RG builder. u lain la RG old-timer
