Hi sifus, I'm quite new to this home entertainment section.
I currently have a TV, PS3 and a 5.1 Speakers. I seems to be missing something to connect the 5.1 system to the TV. What do i need so that i can utilize my 5.1 with my TV and PS3?
Note, my speakers have no optical output, just analog red and white. My TV only supports L and R

I believed your 5.1 Speakers is with integrated amplifier, if it got digital audio input, then you can use it no need to buy av receiver, if it only got analog audio input then you can still use it but stuck with simulated surround, or get av receiver for real surround sound, yamaha low-end av receiver's price is reasonable
