Does any1 face problem like me? After the update, my xbox slim's sensor touch got no sound. On/off button n cd tray also no longer got sound.

Please help and advise. What's wrong? After update become like this.....

your problem still better than mine...
after update all cd error. can't play any cd at all....few cd old games only..
new cd cannot play.

No problem leh, mine still okay...

This new update revert modded consoles back to original firmware (OFW). In other words... if you are on modded console and you have updated... you are screwed.

Either contact MS support in Singapore by phone or by email or by facebook. Ask them for how to proceed due to firmware issues and the process of claiming warranty. U might be entitled for 1 to 1 swap.

He just curious why no more beep sound on his slim.

as for me... HDD slim not rejected cos i tried with my other non modded slim HDD. cables can't be lose coz its HDMI.

... i have a 2nd working slim xbox in the house. how is this affecting me.. errg..

i m not saying he using a modded console. i m just suggesting him to contact MS singapore if any odd fw issues occur. My console, still retain its function even after the update.

E79 is related to HDD. i encounter a few times, and i check mine was due to bad connection between esata port. I do read it might be related to corrupted system files in HDD but thats a slim chance its going to hit someone.
