now is pretty late to start BW adi....because its unlikely there will be another individual ever that can reach the height of flash and jaedong in brood war. unlike BW, sc2 is still open for all to explore

losira is very talented in BW but he says he started too late, so he might as well just start wif everyone at the same time for sc2, he thinks he can do btr like this. and yes he did it.

you dont need perfect macro micro understanding to win the game yet at least....

Its never too late to start anything in life. But 1st u must have ur aim/main objectives clear. Set ur target to a point and then your progress will be easier to monitor.

Starcraft II is just like any other competitive game in this world. To get good at it, you need to spend alot of time practicing it. So practice alot. Read Alot. Ask advise from better players.

Useful sources for starters/newbies

Teamliquid SC2 Recommended Strategy Threads

if u need any help, theres always ppl willing to help. U can find some of the malaysian community in Nerdlings channel in bnet.

Well, you can still improve through playing a lot, right? Anyway, my point is "it is never late to join if you are there for the fun." If someone is happy and enjoy playing despite league status or whatever, then he can join late without any problem.

well that is true, and my point is even if hes aiming to be world number 1, so long he is talented, he can catch up

it is too late if u have family and multi billions business to take care with which all decisions depend on u, not to mention when u are too old and having some alzheimer's, parkinson's disease or some stuff like that i dont know whichever makes u forget strategies and make u cant micro correctly respectively :S

oh wait, too late as in too late to start starcraft2 when it has already been released for almost a year? my bad,lol

it is never too late. in fact if you start now, you should complete the campaigns just as the expansion is just released.

Nope.
If you play zerg, go find nDLnerdgasm in "nerdlings" bnet chatroom. You can get to diamond in a month or 2 as long as you're willing to put extra effort into this game.

Its more fun enjoying playing the games, if possible with friends then getting all worked up at insane difficulties.
