man utd did tried their best
but i guess as more and more years to come
barca possession keeping team will still continue to be a threat although we all actually hate this style becoz its boring to watch
the long pass did by man utd on tat match was really rubbish and its not recommended to play with barca
i think its the formation that screwed up not the players 4-4-1-1
even the 3 lungs park didnt know wat to do
giggs and chicharito seriously was seriously confused about the formation but seriously i think berbatov should get the chance

i beg to differ lo

barca passing is not boring to watch la
they keep on attacking

but only boring when they pass among their defenders
eg. Real vs Barca

btw when I watched the game, I felt as if SAF trying to use Mourinho plan

def and counter atk

and I would say Man Utd dont have the right players to do tat

and the difference is with Pepe the destroyer who can intercept and atk as well

btw our def (esp evra ) is very poor

oh seriously which supporter wont celebrate when their club scored and silent when conceded

the fact tat u hate us is bcos we're winning more often than others

ntg more than tat

if we're arent sitting at top of the perch

i dun think got ppl wanna condemn us oso

it works both ways...
*
but part of mourinho plan was to defend since in the 1st leg inter won the match 3-1 and defensive minded mourinho didnt even try 50% on attacks and when thiaggo motta was sent out all players was on the back when u see barca attack, all u see was blue black jersey and it pays off. Man utd did just like how germany did in the world cup giving up possession too easily and hell yeah barca did really fight for 100% of their possession all the time even when its a short pass didnt stop them to try intercept this is what i respect about their spirit yst, after messi goal the team was demoralized even VDS was abit upset but he could not have done better with 5 or 6 great saves really was the best keeper since schmeichel, 5-6 great saves equivalent to bad defending and effective opponent strategy. yah evra wasnt really tat good really but they got no choice when defenders becoming scarce for mu but man utd defending was good compare to many other team even for real madrid.

the greatest advantage of possession playing was u choose to attack when the defenders has lowered their guard and evident enough yst.
man utd did their best 4-4-1-1 was really ineffective for barca

No matter what, FOREVER UNITED !!

I'm more upset about losing VDS not CL sad.gif

VDS still did great yst its always hard to get good keepers when england is not known for such since david seaman was last best england best keeper and joe hart was seriously good but too bad he was with their neighbor now i would say only da gea and Stekelenburg is the best choice but out of 2 i enjoyed watch Stekelenburg saves more although his weakness was long range but at least better than neuer becoz short range was bad and the style neuer has still will got his big injury sometime in the future probably. VDS should be happy enough for 2 champions league with 2 different team another one being ajax. i hope mu will get another UCL title right before SAF retires

all u need is a bigger squad with qualities
same to Arsenal

i wan the real big 3 to reunite

not the 1 with alot of cash to spare  wink.gif
*
big 3 to reunite?
impossible unless the owner of the neighbor and chelsi played stock market and encounter the market bubble burst lost all their money
football use to be fun before they imitate florentino perez Galacticos era back in the early 2000s
thanks alot to them the footballer income has been soaring from time to time

but hope man utd will get someone back just like ronaldo and back to their consecutive winning days

but hard to say by that time the team might already have spent hundred of millions of monueeey on players
managerial wise plays a more important role actually den having players with superpower or ball sticking on their foot with superglue

I mean if you want to attract good players... you need to invest money...

even our neighbour Man City spent more money than us last season..
*
in fact man city spend the most in the past season
man city and chelsea bosses doesnt take football as investment and take it as interest
arsenal and mu were both taken as investment by the owners respectively
but youth development we had recently wasnt really gone so good as it is expected
unlike barca 23 yrs old 2 ballon d'Or
i really respected the skill and talent that messi had
no doubt he can cut through few defender with his drilling skills
no one defender in the world could really stop him suppress him yes
inter got lucky for last time title if mourinho didnt deploy his strong defending tactics inter wont able to beat barca as well
possession keeping football wasnt everyone taste but well known spain was proven better even before yst match and evident during last year world cup
man utd did really good but even a slight mistake could bring back the possession back to barca this is why so many players giggs/chica all were left frustrated

mu might not be the best of team this season but in the years to come, we might just see something interesting happen to the squad

O.Hargreaves left already? hmm.gif
*
only handful of game
to be exact 39 games in 4 seasons
he is really good he is really a player worth spending but too bad injured
i hope none of the mu players will really did injured just like how alan smith did
so mu lineup will be always strong

nahh..i think the translation of that is "you're not offering enough money"..

hahaha redknapp said he wont sell modric for 1 bil?
even ronaldo only cost 150 mil if AC milan decided to buy him
with 1 bil he can buy hell lots of superstar man hahaha

ya lorr ...
midfielder going to be crucial ..
after keano 7 scholes left, with giggs is ageing ... Mu need new powerful central man
*
yah its not the 1st time
last time when yorke/coke and sheringham/solskjær also one of those time where man utd has too many good strikers
still i felt sometimes SAF doesnt see the issue long term instead focusing on short term issues
carrick is impossible to replace keane position, keane is the best CM for man utd right until now
it would be good if man utd can grab young, sneijder and modric in the summer but since SAF wont overpay
most likely modric is out even bale can be good but its impossible to bid like big spending clubs
