rain always favours barcelona....because water makes the ball roll faster on the ground, pour some sand at wembley then they will have problem playing their free flow football...

If you recall when mourinho managed Inter, he purposely made the pitch on San Siro not be cut prior to Barca's visit.

He claimed that the longer grass will disrupt their passing game, cannot roll nicely to pinpoint passes, and will require more energy to play the pass. so in that sense, the smoother the pitch, the easier for barca to keep the ball rolling

i think that only happens on malaysian fields. our amazing "water pond", the ball can float on that puddle and all of us will just be whacking water around it.

lol thats if the water accumulate and become mud. but if that happens, referee wont allow the game to continue, as the ball will stuck in the mud.
